Over the past week, four clients contacted me because they were unable to log on to their QuickBooks Enterprise company files and Sage 50 company files. The first troubleshooting step I recommend is a Server Reboot. Often times with database programs, such as QuickBooks Enterprise and Sage 50, the database gets locked, and a simple server reboot will clear any lock files.
